At the beginning of April Clint and I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Cancun with out the kids. It is such a needed thing, in my opinion, for the mom and dad of the family to spend some time alone. We got to leave all the cares of the world behind and spend some time together. I love Clint so much and I LOVE spending time with him. This is our second year so we did not do much site seeing, we just sat by the beach, ate food and totally relaxed. I missed the kids, but I knew they were in great hands with Mike and Judi.
This was probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The pictures do not do justice. We a had great view of the ocean!

A couple of weekends ago Clint and I took the girls to Temple Square. We realized the girls really have never been there and we were in the mood to do something. We had such a great time showing the girls the Temple and the Church Museum. I didn’t know this, but at the top of the Church Museum there is a “I am a child of God” area all for kids. The girls loved it and we spent a lot of time there. It is always good to spend time around the Temple and remember the importance of family and eternity. Life feels really good right now and I am looking forward to spring and all the fun family things that come with summer. Thank you Clint for this fun day.

Hello, Hello I wanted to say Hello!!!! I know that it has been a long time since I have participated in the blog world. There is a reason for that. This next week is spring break and so all of the professors decided to stress me out and make so many things due right before. I had a test in all three classes and assignments in all three classes due this week. I am happy to say I pulled it all off. I am so amazed at what a brain can hold. Just when I think I am going to go crazy and my brain in so tired it just keeps working for me. I am excited to have a week off!!!
Last night we got the privilege to baby sit William. Judi and Mike went on a date and the girls were so excited. He is so cute and such a good baby. I miss having a baby and it feels really weird to go this long without having plans of another. I am enjoying my girls getting older and sometimes I feel life is getting pretty easy. Kamree and Lucy are such good girls. The other day I was studying and I fell asleep. They left me alone for almost three hours. They have helped me a lot and I sure love them. They loved helping me with William last night. Anytime you need help Judi and Mike let us know!!
Judi and I are starting to play on a volleyball league starting Monday nights. I am very excited to play, but I am going in saying this is just for fun. I will let you know how that goes because I am very competitive as we all are. Life is very full right know, but I am very happy. I am working hard to better my life and it feels good. Sorry it has been so long.

We have had some fun things happen at our house lately and I have been so lazy that it has taken me along time to post. I had a few seconds and I wanted to add a little on my blog.
Kamree turned FIVE!!!! I can't believe I have a child that is five. I know that might seem funny, but time really goes fast. She is such a great help to me and I love her so much. I was recently very sick with strep throat and she totally took care of me. I feel like I have a best friend right at my side. She laughs with me and talks with me and we have so much fun together. I am sad that she is getting so big, but I also know that I need to enjoy each day with her.
Kamree had a little birthday party with a few friends.
Lucy turned three and we had a very fun birthday party. She is such a fun little girl and she brings so much sunshine into our home. She always has a hug for me and I love her to death. She was so happy to have attention on her birthday and I hope she felt special. She is so special to me!

It has been a busy month and a half as I am sure most of you could agree. I would like to think life will be slowing down, but I just don’t know. I have a lot of things up ahead and I am wondering if I can stay on top of it all. The first new thing is I started school and survived my first week. It was very fun to think and use that thing in my head. Rindi said I should have taken a picture of me on my first day of school. I actually think that would have made this entry a little more interesting. I have been studying while Maggie sleeps and I have to say so far I am very much enjoying it. I am taking a class with Clint’s sister Melissa and I am sure we are going to have a blast. I am working hard to keep my school work far away from my family work so that the girls and Clint don’t suffer. We will see how that goes.
I also leave on Thursday to St. George to run a half marathon with Sunee, Kyle and their sister-in-law Amanda. They are all very good and fast runners and I am very nervous. At nap time today I will try to run 11 miles and I hope I don’t die. I will be very happy to have this race over so I don’t worry about it any more. I am very glad I set this as a goal, because I discovered that I can run long distances and I enjoy it. So I am off to keep up with my exciting new life and try not to get behind on my duties as a wife and mother.

So when you look at this car you probably think that it is a nice car. This morning as I was pushing it on ice I decided I was not so sure. Last night we had a good snow storm that came in very fast. Mustangs are not very good in the snow so I drove to Layton in my Dodge Caravan to rescue my husband from work. I was fine doing that because when I was a teenager I drove a 67 mustang and slid off the road one snowy morning. Well this morning I got us all up early and took my husband back to Layton to get his car. I decided to follow him in case he had any problems. We were driving past Northridge High School and all of the sudden the Mustang started sliding everywhere. Soon the wheels were spinning and Clint was no longer moving. The line behind us started getting pretty big so I turned on my hazards and had to wonder what things were coming out of Clint’s mouth in the car in front of me. I pulled over and started trying to push a huge car that just would not move. My hands were so cold and during one push I slipped and fell really hard on my not so good knee. Things were a little tense so I jumped up and started pushing again. We finally got the stupid car into a parking spot and I drove Clint to Ogden. It was such a mess and I have to say what is a person doing driving a Mustang in a place that often gets snow!! We are all o.k. but, that will never happen again. If there is any sign of snow the mustang will stay in the garage and Clint will drive a fun, snow friendly mini van to work. Might not be good for the image, but at least he won't die.
